what dani is up to....

our oldest dear daughter dani... off to oregon
with her aunt tammy and fam for a few weeks of
summer bliss... and all the while here we are
in s.e. idaho enduring the rain and hail
and winds.... GEESH!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Over...

Just spent a fun-filled extended weekend with hubby's family over in Boise. I learnedd a lot too!

1- certain BOYS (pre teen boys that is) can wear their aunties floppy beach hats and girly diva sunglasses and somehow not get made fun of?

2- you canNOT get 24 people in one photo with everyone looking at the camera with a smile and nobody's face blocked out by someone elses' hair - doesn't happen

3- you don't put the two shortest girls with the 'mom' bellies in the middle of a photo (please....)

4- even big boys still like to climb trees

5- my son LOVES being the one to scream "DUDE you got a Dell"!!

6- and you CAN in fact fit 17 people INSIDE a cute green VW bug - including three grown men in the hatchback and one in the drivers seat! it is a FACT!

mod-podge group for her to photograph but she still
pulled it off! There is one of Chris and myself, one of
the crazy 4 kiddos, Christopher looking handsome and so
grown up in his cap and gown and then a huge group one
with our family, Blake and Lisa, my sister Lisa and her kids
and our friend Liz too. So so so many fun shots, I'll have

before Christophers' HS Graduation a couple of weeks ago.....

busy...busy... busy...

If you don't 'see' me for a bit it is because I am a busy grill! Got a lot going on with fam and work! We'll be leaving for Boise for 4.5 days and I'll have a lot of catching up to do when I get back!

Good workout today!

Had a good workout today!
Went to the gym and did a great
round of strength training and
ab excersizes... got in a bit of
time on the treadmill with inclines,
short run and good walking paces.
Even snuck in the sauna to relax for
a few minutes.
Then I came home and went out for a
55 min run/walk too! 3.5 miles and it
felt great!
What a way to start the week egh?

I finally met my goal!

Over TWO YEARS in coming.... I finally faced my fears, got up the courage, strength and skill and kicked some spinning class butt! I did my first ever spinning bike class at the gym today and it was amazing! I did 55 minutes and just over 22 miles and it was just the coolest! My tooshie and calves are sore but I will live and heck ya, I am going back for more! I LOVED IT! I am just sooooooooo glad I finally broke down and went - I have had this goal for so so so long and I finally conquered it!!!

Wow! I scrapped!

Well... it is a miracle! I got some scrapping done this weekend
and wanted to share!
The one layout I started MONTHS ago while
we were in Island Park in Nov 08'...it is a page about Ed
and myself and our (then) 16 1/2 yrs of marriage...yes, we are
actually coming up on our 19th anniversary but those photos are
from way back in Summer 07'... so, anyway, I finally finished
the page and I love how it came out and the journaling is all
fun with the MM noteworthy stuff! :O)
The other 2 page layout is of our oldest son Chris - that was
from our Thanksgiving visit to Island Park back in 07'! He
had so much fun 4 wheeling... and the facemask Ed had gotten
him was way too cool to not theme the page after! "Wicked!"

OK there ya have it, prob the only pages I'll do all summer! Enjoy!

OK I am behind, sorry. Lots going on here, had Dani's last choir concert of the year, she made the Jr High's best choir this year... Bell Conto?? (sp?) and they were amazing. Also we had Chris' baccaloureate and graduation as well...so - here ya go!
